It has been quite a week so far. A high point in my career, really. There are people who believe in me enough to offer me a full partnership, a board seat, and a COO title. With great joy, I accepted. A great feeling, and there is an extremely high level of motivation on my [...]

We are seated for dinner in the dining room. Many thanks to Jose for getting us in at the last minute. We really need the TLC we have already started to get from the staff here. The funeral was about an hour with no following internment. Many people. Well done. Thankful that there was no [...]

We were contacted by Elements to say that our dining space had some issues, and graciously allowed us to make other arrangements…we will see them tomorrow for brunch. We were fortunate enough to be able to snag a 5pm reservation at Ninety Acres instead! We had Bucatini Carbonara, Carrot Soup, 2 pizzas, Scallops, and Crab [...]

So we do not have reservations, but we head over to Ninety Acres around 6pm to see if we could get a seat at the bar, or anywhere else for that matter. No such luck. Not a seat anywhere. So we reclaim our car and head south. We end up at a tiny Mexican food [...]

The power washer that is… Spent four hours just giving the house and deck a bath. There has been a distinct build-up of grime in certain areas that MUST be gotten rid of, so the TLC was much appreciated by our dwelling. James will pick up where I left off and continue until the entire [...]

We had a wonderful dinner at Ninety Acres. Started with a bowl of the cauliflower soup and a large wild boar ragu to share, which the kitchen was kind enough to split into two bowls without being asked. The ragu was exquisite, with a luscious flavor and great texture contrasts. It was also piping hot, [...]

Ran around and did the required visits. Code is moving very well. Made some refinements and cleaned up stuff I missed at 3am. Should be able to be ready for Monday morning 10am meeting. Very much looking forward to Ninety Acres reservations at 5:30pm tonight to kickoff our 5th wedding anniversary weekend.

We went to Ninety Acres for dinner tonight. It was spectacular, again. David stopped by to chat about brunch and invited us back for a another try on the house in about a month. As always, class personified. We were thrilled to hear his back had recovered well due to physical therapy. I had the [...]

Sorry for lack of posts, have not been feeling well at all. So, let’s see – where did we leave off? Ah, yes – Wicked Faire. To make a long painful story short, a large vendor who was supposed to have two spaces was put next to us into one space. To top it off [...]

We went early to Ninety Acres tonight. No reservations, we simply sat at the bar and had great burgers and excellent fries. Started with marinated olives, which were just perfect. Then we had the onion soup dip, extraordinary. David sent out a pizza that was fresh and delicious. Dessert was yummy and we had plenty [...]
