The Legacy of Freedom?

Author: , July 1st, 2011

What have we done with the legacy of freedom given to us by the sacrifices of this nation’s founders? We are now a culture driven by consumption. Economic growth at the expense of the health of the planet cannot be sustained, and can lead only to disaster. We have lost proper perspective and balance. How […]

Tuesday morning. Have lots of chores and errands to do. Miss my wife already. Was really great spending time with her this weekend. We are SO well suited for each other. The outdoor cats are very hungry because we have not been feeding them in hopes we can trap them, especially Mama cat and her […]

Naomi got home safely last night, and she had fun at the show. Saw all four kittens…the one we rescued was playing, but seems to have a limp paw. We will watch and see. Trying to take it slow today, so we both can rest and recuperate. Spoke to Sandra via text about Jay, since […]

Miss My Wife Very Much

Author: , October 10th, 2009

So sick I could not accompany Naomi to the Rocky show. I miss her very much. I am very upset that I am not well enough to go. She will get to see Jason and Jeremy. Sigh. I just couldn’t do it.

The lexapro is very strong. I took too much today and it zonked me out. Have finally worked out the proper procedure for working with git. No simple matter to figure out such a simple thing. I must make a quick-reference guide for this.

Good Morning!

Feeling slow this morning. Just had a double espresso, so that should get me jump-started. Heard from Jay, who has been ill. I feel for him. Maybe he will like PainMinder. Starting on secret client work now. Will be on it all day. Finally!!! Love this weather – so awesome. The four kittens are playing […]

Crazy Day!

Author: , October 7th, 2009

Got up and got an IM from Scott at SMF who wanted my butt on site ASAP! So instead of getting all of my planned work done, I was on my way to downtown NYC for the day. Fixed network slowness caused by Verizon decommissioning two old DNS servers. I fixed broken DVD drive access […]

Dinner with Wife

Author: , October 6th, 2009

Yay! Dinner time with my beloved wife. She works very hard. We are having Harold’s matzoh-ball soup for dinner. Then she will get back to work on Barclay’s stuff, and i will continue to test and document git. At least we are working in the same office.
