Comcast Woes

At 12:30pm today my Comcast cable internet connection decided to die. Or, more accurately, the Comcast servers decided my service was no longer valid because they lost the serial number to my modem. So, instead of running my business as usual, all TCP traffic is blocked!

A long call to tech support failed to resolve the issue, and it has been escalated. I am NOT impressed.

So, for now, I have my iPhone 4S connected and I am running my home system through my iPhone. Not an ideal way to get work done…

UPDATE: Two hours later, things are finally working again…
