A Blast from the Past

So we went to Long Island yesterday to go to Jason’s Halloween Party. Was so very nice to see him. Also ran into Michelle Z there. Wow!
We drove through Lynbrook so I could show Naomi my home turf. There were hundreds of children and parents out trick-or-trreating – just like when I was growing up!
34 Arthur Ave. is no longer yellow, it is grey. They removed the railing around the deck on top of the garage and made some minor changes to the front. Same old garage doors. The maple sapling that we planted when the old oak was killed by lightning is now a huge tree. Holy Branches, Batman!
Also took a cruise to Captree vis the Robert Moses Causeway. drove over lots of water. The moon was shining brightly and reflecting strongly on the water as we drove over the long bridge.
Had Japanese delivery for dinner. Jason’s friend Dawn seemed nice. He seems to switch off between male and female Friday’s.
We wore garb, and I got multiple compliments on my boots.
Left the party by 10:30pm because I was having issues with all the cigarette smoke. Drive home was a bit rough due to the rain, but it got easier as we got closer to home.
All-in-all, a sucessful trip.
