An Evening with Mattias at Elements

Yesterday afternoon, Naomi and I just had to get out of the house, so we took a cruise into PA and south through New Hope (packed) along the Delaware River. Looped around on Route 95 and came back up Rt. 206 through Princeton. We of course ended up at Elements just as they opened up at 5pm!

Since we had no reservations, it was the bar we abided at for our evening’s repast. Once the odiferous patrons who were waiting for their table departed the space, we joined our friend Mattias, who was just finishing the prep of his “zone”.

This was our first time dining at the bar, and it was quite a lot of fun! Fortunately for me, no-one else came in wearing horrible perfume.

Mattias is an excellent host, and has an uncanny sense of timing when it comes to joining in conversation. The food was excellent as always. Naomi had triggerfish and I had fluke, with gazpacho for her and pork tonkatsu for me as appetizers. My lovely wife had the peach dessert, while I stuck with the cheese plate due to health considerations.

The trophy was the empty cognac bottle…OMG…

Thank you, Mattias for a wonderful experience. As always, Elements shines!

Thanks again for coming in! It was good to see you two, and having you dine at the bar was a pleasure. See you again soon.
