Fantastic Feral Feline Phenomena

It has been many, many moons since we saw our old feral friend, “Mama Cat”. She had many litters in our backyard, and then simply vanished one day.
A few months ago, I thought I had spotted her, but was unsure of it.
Today, I went out to feed the other two feral cats, and there she was, cautiously waiting off to the side of the yard. I think she was fearful of the big, old male cat. Finally, she came over and had dinner.
I was quite pleased that she had returned “home”, and hope she stays around for a while…
