On to Raleigh, NC

Spent the night in Savannah at the Planter’s Inn. We had dinner on our balcony, delivered from the Pink House. Fantastic food. We then got ice cream from Leopolds. They have been in business since 1919, one year after my grandfather was born.
Now we are off to Raleigh, NC to visit friends.
We had a bit of a scare as we got close to the Savannah exit on Route 95. Saw a cop with lights coming up fast. He pulled in right behind us. Then he just blew past us to get on the exit we were taking. Whew! Glad he was not interested in us.
