Crazy Day!

Got up and got an IM from Scott at SMF who wanted my butt on site ASAP! So instead of getting all of my planned work done, I was on my way to downtown NYC for the day.

Fixed network slowness caused by Verizon decommissioning two old DNS servers. I fixed broken DVD drive access by editing the registry and deleting two keys. Go figure…it IS Winblows after all.

Also got the boss’s system up and running on the network and got it printing, too!

Oh yes, and they had installed a new printer and let it use DHCP, so when the firewall rebooted they all lost print capability. duh.

I am very glad to have clients.

Traffic SUCKED.

Got home and had to deal with all of the household chores, and actually eat something. Got it all done, now sitting down to do more secret client work. Client is eager for the docs to be on their server, trying to get everything done as quickly as possible.

Was stable all day without taking any meds until I was almost home. So I got a quarter tablet of the Lexapro and all is well again. I simply despise the fact that I need it.

Another day of no PainMinder activity. Damn. I must work harder at getting the word out to the people who can really benefit from it. And keep working at add features and smoothing the experience. Sigh. I need a full-time job. Maybe B&H will come through!
