As expected, a truly amazing evening. The best part for me was being on the veranda at the Mansion during the party with Naomi, overlooking the valley at night, sitting in front of a real wood fire, with the stars shining extraordinarily brightly above. The view was infinite, the pleasure absolute. Not to mention the […]

We are so looking forward to spending the evening at Ninety Acres. Dinner first, then over to the Mansion to toast the New Year. Eager to see our friend Executive Chef David Felton, along with the rest of our many old friends on staff! Read a quick story about Ninety Acres

My lovely wife and I were originally planning to simply stay home for Christmas and New Year’s. Since we are Jewish, there is not much for us to do on Christmas… Yesterday, we decided to go out for dinner for each of the days. We were lucky enough to secure the Chef’s Table at Elements […]

Eleven Madison Park treated us like royalty. The food was INCREDIBLE! Just as good as at Elements or Ninety Acres. And, as it turns out, the owner of EMP, Danny Meyer, stopped by our table to check on us personally. Cannot wait to return!

It has been quite a week so far. A high point in my career, really. There are people who believe in me enough to offer me a full partnership, a board seat, and a COO title. With great joy, I accepted. A great feeling, and there is an extremely high level of motivation on my […]

We are seated for dinner in the dining room. Many thanks to Jose for getting us in at the last minute. We really need the TLC we have already started to get from the staff here. The funeral was about an hour with no following internment. Many people. Well done. Thankful that there was no […]

We were contacted by Elements to say that our dining space had some issues, and graciously allowed us to make other arrangements…we will see them tomorrow for brunch. We were fortunate enough to be able to snag a 5pm reservation at Ninety Acres instead! We had Bucatini Carbonara, Carrot Soup, 2 pizzas, Scallops, and Crab […]

So we do not have reservations, but we head over to Ninety Acres around 6pm to see if we could get a seat at the bar, or anywhere else for that matter. No such luck. Not a seat anywhere. So we reclaim our car and head south. We end up at a tiny Mexican food […]

The power washer that is… Spent four hours just giving the house and deck a bath. There has been a distinct build-up of grime in certain areas that MUST be gotten rid of, so the TLC was much appreciated by our dwelling. James will pick up where I left off and continue until the entire […]

We had a wonderful dinner at Ninety Acres. Started with a bowl of the cauliflower soup and a large wild boar ragu to share, which the kitchen was kind enough to split into two bowls without being asked. The ragu was exquisite, with a luscious flavor and great texture contrasts. It was also piping hot, […]
